Topic: Foundational Abilities Reform

2/2, 2/23 committee meetings

  • collected more detailed feedback from academic affairs committee

  • optimized data to make more convincing arguments to admins

  • scheduled admin meeting with Dean Falk and Dean Rowe (WSE and KSAS deans)

Topic: credit overloading initiative

2/2 committee meeting, 2/10 investigative email to advising 

a bunch of college classes happening at

  • identified the restriction on credit overloading on KSAS students, which exacerbates the FA burden and complicates course planning

  • emailed advising dean to probe if advisors have received similar concerns and the reason behind limiting credit overload 

Topic: Study spces survey

  • drafted the study space survey with sophomore senator Ari

  • presented the survey to the senate for feedback
